Be sure to mark your calendars for PARL's 21st Annual Pet Walk held this year on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Roger Williams Park in Providence. This year's premiere event for pet lovers promises to be a tail-waggin good time for all!
The Rescue was a SUCCESS!

What a Night! We'd like to thank all of our friends and supporters who came out to celebrate THE RESCUE - our 3rd Annual Auction & Cocktail Party fundraiser. Yogi partied all night long and enjoyed all of the love and attention from all of you! Bids were high and a good time was had by all! Here's a few photos for you to enjoy.
Once again, THANK YOU for your generous support and we hope to see you next year!
Special Thank-You to our Rescue Sponsors

It's Raining Cats & Dogs!
Please support PARL's annual
"Online Kitten and Puppy Shower"

Springtime is "baby time" for all our four-legged friends. Last year, PARL's foster parent volunteers lovingly cared for over 125 kittens and puppies until they were old enough for adoption into permanent homes. PARL stands behind these volunteers by providing food, litter, bedding, toys and other supplies. But these items don't just fall from the sky!
Please support PARL's annual "Online Kitten and Puppy Shower. You can shop our internet wishlist at PARL Shower Wish List. You can conveniently make your donations online and have them mailed to the shelter. Or you can stop by your nearest PetSmart and "load up to drop off". Either way, all the kittens and puppies will thank you for your generosity!
Want to be a foster parent volunteer? Call our Director of Volunteer Services at 401-421-1399 x208 or email volunteer@parl.org for additional information. Click here for a foster application.
Here's a way to recyle your used ink/toner cartridges AND raise a little cash for the animals at PARL?

PARL participates in the Staples ink/toner recycling program! Here's how it works: When you drop off a used ink/toner cartridge at Staples to be recycled, just give them PARL's customer # - 4002468603. We will then receive $3 dollars per cartridge that is recycled through them! A simple way to help the environment AND the critters at PARL!
